The Good Limbo is an online mental health community for peer based support and distraction. It’s a community of people with lived experience of mental health. We want to make sure that no matter what someone is going through, they don’t have to go through it alone. We’re based in Ireland, but we have members from all over the world. We have forums and a live chat which are always available and free to use. We fund the running of The Good Limbo with product sales via our shop and member donations.
To join our forums you’ll need a username, password and email address – that’s it. Our chat is run on Discord. You might have a Discord account already, if not you register with Discord, verify your email, and then click the chat link on our website to join The Good Limbo server. By signing up to our forums or chat you agree to follow the rules. These rules exist to make The Good Limbo a safe, supportive and friendly environment for everyone.
You might wonder what kinds of conversations take place in the community. We had a video made which we think explains it really well.
As you can see, we talk about all sorts. Whether you’re having a rough day, need to distract from difficult thoughts or you want to talk about your favourite food – The Good Limbo is here – because we’ve been there.
If it sounds like your kind of place, or even if you’re still a little unsure, pop over to the forums or chat and have a look and say hello. The community is full of friendly and welcoming people. We’re looking forward to meeting you, and we hope you find what you need here.
