PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
We use Google Analytics across the website for website statistics. We anonymise IP addresses, and Google has no access to email addresses or usernames that you provide to us. Google Analytics is only used for performance tracking purposes, for example to see where website traffic has come from, how many visits a page has had or how long a user remains on the website. Your The Good Limbo account will, at a bare minimum, contain a uniquely identifiable name (hereinafter “your user name”), a personal password used for logging into your account (hereinafter “your password”) and a personal, valid email address (hereinafter “your email”). Your information for your account at The Good Limbo is protected by data-protection laws applicable in the country that hosts us. Any information beyond your user name, your password, your age, and your email address required by The Good Limbo during the registration process is optional. In all cases, you have the option of what information in your account is publicly displayed. Furthermore, within your account, you have the option to opt-in or opt-out of automatically generated emails.
Depending on your preferences The Good Limbo may send you emails to the email address that The Good Limbo holds in your account which will either be that you used when you registered or one that you have subsequently changed, but you are able to change these preferences from your User Control Panel (UCP) at any time should you wish to stop receiving them.
The only other information about you is that which you decide to post in the forums, whereupon it is considered to be “publicly available” as it will have been indexed by search engines as well as on-line archive sites.
You are free at any time to request a copy of the personal information that The Good Limbo holds. You can do this on the “Privacy data” tab in your UCP. You can also request closure of your account whereby all personal data held on you would be deleted, this can be done by on the “Privacy data” tab in the user’s UCP the by clicking mailto link to request the removal of your account, or emailing email@example.com. This process does not remove any posts you have made on the site. We may retain certain personal information in exceptional circumstances. Exceptional circumstances may include but are not limited to the protection of the legitimate interests of The Good Limbo such as information on banned members in the interest of keeping the community safe, or any legal obligation we may have to comply with.
Your forum posts are publicly available, meaning they are available worldwide to anyone with internet access. If you are a registered user you have the ability to delete your replies to threads and edit your posts. If you request your account be closed, all personal data will be deleted, so posts that were made by that account will not hold personal information and as such are not considered personal data. If a post contains sensitive data or data that could be used to identify an individual and you do not have an active account or are unable to delete it yourself, you may request these posts be edited or deleted by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. These requests will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we may use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.
