I went on a 6 mile walk at cod beck a couple weeks ago with the doggo. It was a really lovely day. I have just started work though so my days off are going to be spent hibernating at home! For the first few weeks anyways. :) I have a two week induction and I'm learning all the health and safety stuff and then we are doing a class on managing agression, breakaway techniques and restraint which terrifies me. It's been a rollercoaster of a week already. I thought I would be tired but it's like I have adrenaline and I want to do everything. I have been cleaning and decluttering my flat!

Hey Steph. Sounds like things are going well. Glad you've started in the new job, I hope you enjoy it! Are you finding the class helpful even if it's terrifying?

It's going good so far. I'm two days in to induction but they have a really robust support system and there's seven staff to ten service users which is really good. Plus management through Mon to Friday. It's a really good organisation and the management is lovely. I'm really glad I picked this one.

I'm not sure what shifts I will be doing yet but I'm doing 37.5 hours.

So much going on right now.

I have been so much more productive in the flat too. Like I can't sit down when I get back anymore I want to tidy and make my flat a good place to come back to. It's weird. It's like it's motivated me to be a better person and take care of myself a lot more.

7:10 ratio is really good. I'm glad you're feeling motivated and productive.
