Chit Chat 2
Re: Chit Chat 2
Haha, funny you should say that - currently tempted to rip the bloody sensor off my arm right now. Its only been a day but I've been a bit exasperated with it... Contacted the nurse though so maybe she'll offer some insight tomorrow.
Otherwise I'm alright, a bit low and stuff.

Re: Chit Chat 2
How long do you have to have it on for, NP?
Re: Chit Chat 2
The sensor lasts for 2 weeks at a time and I only have the one at the moment, then I can do a 6 month trial if I like before switching to it permanently. There are definitely things I like about it (graphs!) and I can scan from my phone but it sometimes seems to read something very different from the finger prick tests I've been doing as well which it says it does do that but I can't understand how that's acceptable or helpful if I have to double check everything with finger prick tests anyway. Plus it doesn't talk to my pump so I have to enter everything manually which seems dumb. Plus stupid thing on my arm.

It's like it's almost really helpful but not quite.
Re: Chit Chat 2
Exactly. People swear by these things though. At the moment I'm just hoping it might be useful for a couple of weeks to spot some patterns and stuff.
Re: Chit Chat 2
Sounds frustrating that you have to double check for one and if your blood monitor speaks to your pump rather than manual input basically makes your life that little easier. But I hope it helps notice what needs noticing in the meantime
